Heritage Bank Stadium (by naming rights) also known as Carrara Stadium, forms part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct, it is a large sporting venue with a capacity of 25,000, of which 23,500 is available for seating.
The modern venue is located on Nerang Broadbeach Road at Carrara, just west of Ross Street, Benowa. It was initially built in 1986 and underwent extensive upgrades in 2010 and 2011, culminating in it being used for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Gold Coast Suns
The stadium’s primary use is being the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns, an Australian Rules football club. As an entertainment venue it peaked with a capacity crowd of 40,000, hosting Queen and Adam Lambert on The Rhapsody Tour, 29 February 2020.
